"The Battle Cat"This was our first boat. With no sailing or boating experience Chris and Toby decided to buy a sailboat. We got on craigslist and bought this boat for $700. What a steal!!! So we thought. The boat was in pieces, and we were told that all we needed to do was assemble everything. In a week or two she would be ready to sail. A year and quite a few four letter words later we were still "assembling" this boat. Check out the Logs page to read about the fateful end of the "Battle Cat".Add Comment

"Second Wind"Our second boat. Well, our first real boat. A sturdy, well built boat that is designed for coastal cruising. This is the boat that we are learning all our basic seamanship on, and learning how to get into trouble. We're having many a great adventures on this boat. The stories of our first days taking this boat out without ANY sailing knowledge are quite hilarious.Add Comment

"Your Mom & Your Sister"This is it! The grandaddy of sailboats. At least to us. This is the boat that we plan to take on the voyage. It has exactly what we need and want in a cruising home. Really it just comes down to its pure sex appeal. From the first time we laid eyes on the boat it was clear that this had to be the one. We left the marina with nothing but dreams of her being ours and soon she will be. Oh yes, she will be ours!Add Comment
